Pullback Tool Holder
DC PULLBACK COLLET SYSTEM
Internal Spring-Loaded Mechanism for Secure Tool Holding
High-precision DC pullback tool holder with integrated collet system. Features internal spring-loaded mechanism that pulls the tool back into the holder, eliminating tool pullout during heavy cutting. Perfect for aggressive milling, drilling, and high-feed operations where conventional collet chucks may fail.
HOW PULLBACK WORKS

KEY BENEFITS
Product Information
What is a Pullback Tool Holder?
A pullback (DC) tool holder uses an internal spring-loaded collet mechanism to grip cutting tools. When you insert a tool and tighten the holder, the collet is "pulled back" into a tapered bore, causing it to contract and firmly clamp the tool shank.
How the DC Clamping System Works
- Insert the tool - Slide your cutting tool into the holder bore
- Tighten the mechanism - Rotate the rear adjustment to pull the collet backward
- Collet contracts - The tapered bore forces the collet to compress around the tool
- Secure grip - Tool is firmly held with 0.003mm concentricity
Key Advantages
- No external nut required - Internal collet for cleaner profile
- Small front diameter - Better access in tight machining areas
- Quick tool changes - Simple insert-and-tighten operation
- High precision - 0.003mm runout accuracy
- High-speed capable - Balanced design for fast spindle speeds

Select blade width, groove depth (T), and working radius range to find the right Face Groove tool
Select boring diameter range, shank diameter (D), and insert type (C=diamond/T=triangular) to find the right boring head
Select CBA model (complete boring range) and internal boring range to find the right micro finish boring head
Select LBK model (matches your CBA boring head) and extension length to find the right extension rod
Select BT type (spindle taper), LBK number (locking block socket), CBA head model, and projection length (L1) to find the right boring head shank
How to Choose the Right Holder
- Shank Height (H): Choose based on your machine's tool holder/turret slot size
- Tool Height (H3): Must match the H dimension of your SPB Tool (26mm or 32mm)
Example: If you have SPB26-3 tool (H=26mm), select H3=26mm
Must match your SPB Tool's H dimension
HRC≤56 is recommended for best price/performance ratio with newest nano-black coating technology.
