ER Spanners / Wrenches
ESSENTIAL TOOL FOR ER COLLET SYSTEMS
Proper tightening = proper tool holding
High-quality ER spanners for ER collet nut installation and removal. Using the correct spanner ensures proper torque application without damaging the nut or holder.
SPANNER SIZE GUIDE
ER11For ER11 nuts
ER16For ER16 nuts
ER20For ER20 nuts
ER25For ER25 nuts
ER32Most common
ER40For ER40 nuts
ER50For ER50 nuts
Pro Tip: Apply even torque when tightening. Over-tightening can damage the collet and reduce clamping precision. Under-tightening can cause tool slippage.
Material: High-grade steel construction with corrosion-resistant coating. Ergonomic non-slip rubber handle for comfortable grip and precise torque control.
Technical Information
ER Spanners are essential tools for working with ER collet systems. Available in 6 different types to accommodate various ER nut configurations:
• ERM: For ER-M type nuts
• ER: For standard ER-A type nuts
• WTG: For larger ER nuts (ER25, ER32, ER40, ER50)
• ER/UM: For ER-UM ultra-mini nuts
• GSK: For GSK special application nuts
• ERMS: For ER-MS mini-slim nuts
Each spanner is sized specifically for its corresponding ER nut type, ensuring proper fit and preventing damage to the nut surfaces.

φ(d)=Cutting Diameter | R=Radius | D=Shank Diameter | I=Cutting Length | L=Overall Length | All in mm
D=Diameter | L1, L2, L3=Length Dimensions | L=Overall Length | D1=Shank Diameter | All in mm
Select blade width, groove depth (T), and working radius range to find the right Face Groove tool
Select boring diameter range, shank diameter (D), and insert type (C=diamond/T=triangular) to find the right boring head
Select CBA model (complete boring range) and internal boring range to find the right micro finish boring head
Select LBK model (matches your CBA boring head) and extension length to find the right extension rod
Select BT type (spindle taper), LBK number (locking block socket), CBA head model, and projection length (L1) to find the right boring head shank
How to Choose the Right Holder
Shank Height (H): Choose based on your machine's tool holder/turret slot size
Tool Height (H3): Must match the H dimension of your SPB Tool (26mm or 32mm)
Example: If you have SPB26-3 tool (H=26mm), select H3=26mm
Must match your SPB Tool's H dimension
HRC≤56 is recommended for best price/performance ratio with newest nano-black coating technology.
